The 5 pre-set potentiometers adjust the following parameters

UL Sets the maximum speed available and has a range from 0Hz (fully counter clockwise) to Base Speed (or X2) (fully clockwise) depending on switch S7 and S8.
LL Sets the minimum speed available and has a range from 0Hz (fully counterclockwise) to Base Speed (or X2) (fully clockwise) depending on switch S7 and S8.
ACC Sets the acceleration time from 0.5 sec (fully counter clockwise) to 130 sec (fully clockwise) to attain 0Hz from Base Speed (or X2) from 0Hz depending on switch S7 and S8.
DEC Sets the deceleration time from 0.5 sec (fully counter clockwise) to 130 sec (fully clockwise) to attain 0Hz from Base Speed (or X2) from 0Hz depending on switch S7 and S8.
THRY Sets the 40-100% current value for the 'lxt' calculation. (7-seg display will show 5 when measured motor current is greater than 100% of the value set by THRY, and thus 'lxt' is intergrating up.) Fully counter clockwise equals zero current for 'lxt' setting and fully clockwise equals 2.3A (0.5HP/220VAC) or 1.4A (0.25HP/110VAC) current for 'lxt' setting.

The setting range of UL and LL provide for full rotation of the external Speed Potentiometer to operate over a band width of 1Hz or more over any part of the speed range, to Base Speed X2. Setting LL greater than UL causes the minimum speed to equal the maximum speed set by UL.
